and do a MIND DUMP and write down every single thing on your mind that you

SORT YOUR TO DOs BETWEEN PERSONAL AND BUSINESS TASKS:
This step is easy. Based on the huge list you just developed, sort them by
personal or business items. This is a great way of separating the tasks.

3. GROUP ALL RELATED TASKS INTO PROJECTS:
Projects are a group of tasks or to dos that need to be performed to get

several steps to get done. This is similar to what Tony Robbins calls
"chunking". It is easier to break a big job into small pieces to get it done
because your brain looks at smaller steps as doable as opposed to looking at
the whole project GET TAXES DONE. Sometimes your brain shuts down when it
sees something like that because it figures that there are just too many
steps involved to get that task done.
4. PUT THESE PROJECTS INTO A RELIABLE SYSTEM:
This is the most important part of reducing stress and becoming more
efficient. You can only do so much on your own but you need a system that is
more reliable than your short term memory to handle your tasks. When things
come up, as they do throughout the day, you have to ask yourself "Is this
IMPORTANT or URGENT?". If it is important, then you should do it now, if it
is urgent, then you should put it in your system so you can deal with it at
the appropriate time. Lets say for example your accountant calls and says
she needs a copy of last year's tax return so she can work on your taxes
this week. If you do not have a reliable system, you will stop everything
and try to find last year's tax return. In the mean time you just missed 3
important calls from people who wanted to place large orders with your
companies, but you say, "I need to get this done or I will forget to do it
later"
The efficient thing to do is to put it in your system and deal with it AFTER
you have completed your most IMPORTANT tasks of the day. A place where you
